Availability of Footpath Darshan Tickets
- The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board issues Divya Darshan tokens to those who trek to Tirumala. The token counters are usually available from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. However, during rush periods such as Brahmotsavam, the counters may be closed.
- Every day, approximately 14,000 tickets are issued starting from 12:00 AM midnight. If the quota is filled, pilgrims can opt for Sarva Darshanam or free Darshan.
- Apart from this, around 10,000 Divya Darshan tokens are issued on the Alipiri footpath route and 5,000 tokens along the Sri Vari Mettu route.
Booking Procedure
Divya Darshan tokens can be collected at the Bhudevi Complex at Alipiri. You need not trek the Alipiri footpath to scan your Divya Darshan tokens as they can be scanned once you reach Tirumala.

Things to Know
The total distance of the trek is approximately 9 km with a total of 3550 steps. The footpath is open from 4 am till 10 pm. The approximate time to reach Tirumala is between 3 to 5 hours depending on the individual’s pace.
Once you reach Tirumala, there are facilities for free darshan, free accommodation (P.A.C.), and free food.
